Diffusion screens

Varieties of diffusion screens (diffuse, diffusely toned and transparent)

Diffusion screens are usually made up of a plastic screen with inserted diffusers or of a thin light scattering polymeric film (plastic) that has been fixed to a carrier screen. The mode of operation of these diffusion screens is based on light scattering at these structures, the projected light is being turned round into the viewing direction desired by the observer.
